Passive Income – April 2019

Once in a month I will publish a Passive Income Report. This will show you what changes happened in my portfolio and how much passive income I collected during the month. This month I received 647,1 in passive income, which is a 143 % increase compared to last April.

Well, what can I say except it was an amazing month! It was the first time I was able to cross 600 € and I didn’t even have a single 400 € month before this one. It would have been a great month even without Nordea, but they changed their annual dividend payment date from March to April, which was the main reason to this massive year-over-year growth.

Passive Income

  • Iron Mountain Inc (IRM): 35,4 €
  • Medtronic (MDT): 11,9 €
  • Nordea (NDA): 241,5 €
  • Realty Income Corporation (O): 12,7 €
  • Sampo (SAMPO): 68,4 €
  • Telia Company (TELIA): 52,5 €
  • UPM Kymmene (UPM): 143,0 €
  • W.P.Carey Inc. (WPC): 39,5 €
  • Mintos (P2P loans): 42,2 €

To keep things as simple as possible, I have converted all currencies to Euros.

In 2019 I have received 1 180 € in passive income, which is 33,7 % of my annual goal (3 500 €).

Dividend Increases

Three companies in my portfolio announced dividend increases in April:

  • Apple (AAPL): +5,5 %
  • Exxon (XOM): +6,1 %
  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ): +5,6 %

I am always delighted to see dividend increases as they boost my passive income without investing any extra money! These raises increase my projected annual income by 10,5 €.

Buys/sells

I purchased 45 shares of Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. (WBA) in April, which increased my projected annual income by 69,9 €. You can read more about the purchase here

Summary

In conclusion, April was a great month. I received a HUGE amount of passive income and added a new high quality stock to my portfolio. Three companies also announced dividend increases this month. As a result my projected annual income increased by 80,4 €.

Congrats on crushing your record by a big margin Deluge! It definitely was a great month.
I can see that you have Telia in your portfolio. I own some of their Lithuanian subsidiary (Telia Lietuva) and am waiting for their dividend in May 🙂
Good luck in achieving those goals!

Thanks BI! I purchased my Telia shares from Stockholm Stock Exchange even though it also listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, because I wanted some currency diversification. I really like that they decided to start paying semiannual dividend.

Wow Deluge, just wow. Over 600 Euros. That’s just incredible. You continue to just crush it in 2019. Each month is another stellar dividend income total to report. Keep up the great work!
