Passive Income – May 2019

Once in a month I will publish a Passive Income Report. This will show you what changes happened in my portfolio and how much passive income I collected during the month. This month I received 297,8 in passive income, which is a 17 % increase compared to last May.

Let’s take a look where did that money came from!

Passive Income

  • Abbvie Inc. (ABBV): 24,8 €
  • Apple Inc. (AAPL): 18,7 €
  • AT&T Inc. (T): 45,9 €
  • Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI): 124,4 €
  • Realty Income Corporation (O): 12,7 €
  • S-Pankki (Cooperatives): 22,6 €
  • Mintos (P2P loans): 48,7 €

To keep things as simple as possible, I have converted all currencies to Euros.

In 2019 I have received 1 478 € in passive income, which is 42,2 % of my annual goal (3 500 €). Reaching annual goal will be very hard this year, but I will do my best!

Dividend Increases

Unfortunately no dividend increases this month. I am expecting a couple of increases in June so I am not too worried about this!

Buys/sells

I purchased 150 shares of Nordea Bank (NDA) in May, which increased my projected annual income by 103,5 €. You can read more about the purchase here

Summary

Stock market was still pretty quiet in May and my portfolio value increased about 1 %. I am expecting more market volatility in the coming months, which could present some good buying opportunities.

Zero companies in my portfolio announced dividend increases this month, but I was able to purchase a small amount of Nordea Bank shares, which increased my annual passive income quite a bit.

Thanks for reading!

Great month Deluge! That dividend from OHI alone looks impressive 🙂
I am familiar with most of the companies (and Mintos P2P lending platform) but not with S-Pankki. I assume it’s a local company from your country? 🙂
Congrats on a big increase to your dividend income with that hefty buy of Nordea Bank shares!

Hi BI and thanks for the comment!

You are right about S-pankki. It is a Finnish bank, but I guess I should use the international name which is S-Bank. I have no idea how I have missed that one. Thanks for pointing that out!

    Hey DD!
Good month and I especially like the YOY growth of 42% in 2019.
I agree that we should see some nice buying opportunities in the coming months.
Are there any particular candidates on your watchlist?

Hi SF and thanks for the comment!

I don’t have any particular stocks on my mind yet, but I would like to focus on defensive stocks. I will probably purchase my next stock from the consumer defensive, healthcare or utilities sector.
